Academic Update - February 2025
Central Elementary recently celebrated the 100th day of school with a fun-filled day of learning and creativity. Students practiced their math skills by counting 100 objects and counting by tens up to 100. They also used this milestone to explore their writing abilities by imagining what their lives might be like in 100 years, from their careers to the advancements they hope to see.
In addition, students answered a series of thoughtful questions about the number 100. They shared what they would do with $100 and what they think life might be like a century from now. The day was not only a great way to reinforce important math and writing skills but also an opportunity for students to reflect on the future and spark their imaginations.
