Mrs. Bowser

Mrs. Bowser has taught Pre-K in the Chestnut Ridge School District since the program’s inception in 2007. With extensive experience in early childhood education, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education, as well as a Master’s Degree plus 15 credits. In addition to her professional role, Mrs. Bowser is a proud mother of three and grandmother of four. She has also had the unique joy of seeing two of her grandchildren participate in the Chestnut Ridge Pre-K program, with two more eagerly awaiting their turn.
                       
Mrs. Kissell

Mrs. Kissell has been part of the Chestnut Ridge School District since 2008 and has 28 years of experience in Pre-K education. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education, a master’s equivalency, and 30 continuing education credits. She believes children learn best through play, exploration, and positive relationships and is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing classroom. Mrs. Kissell is also a proud parent of two Chestnut Ridge graduates and enjoys hiking with her dog in her free time.

Miss Kim

Miss Kim began her journey at Chestnut Ridge School District in 2014 and has proudly been supporting our Pre-K classrooms since 2015. For 12 years, she facilitated The Incredible Years program, supporting children and families in building strong social-emotional skills. In 2020, she completed training in Conscious Discipline, further strengthening her commitment to creating a positive, nurturing classroom environment. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. 
 
Miss Rachelle

Miss Rachelle has proudly worked in the district for 8 years, including the past 6 years in Mrs. Bowser’s classroom. She brings 8 years of Pre-K Counts training and experience, demonstrating her strong commitment to early childhood education and helping young learners build a solid foundation for success. Miss Rachelle is married and has two children who graduated from the district. She is also excited to be a first-time grandma, a role she treasures just as much as her work with her students.
